This silk scarf is created by French atelier Brochier Soieries and features the 1904-06 painting, Paysage Bleu (Blue Landscape), by Paul Czanne (1839-1906, French). One of the most influential artists on twentieth-century painting, Paul Czanne is categorized as a Post-Impressionist. His work influenced the art of Cubists, Fauvists, and has inspired generations of modern artists. Sixteen works by Czanne were exhibited in the 1913 Armory Show.
