In 2006, Meg Grace, Rob Larcom and Gregg Nelson opened The Redhead, a neighborhood restaurant in New York City’s East Village. Their concept was simple: renovate a beloved local jazz bar in the East Village. It was months of hard work with help from family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Redhead offers American cuisine often cooked with a southern accent. Their bar snack, Bacon Peanut Brittles, became so popular they discovered they’d happened upon a new addition to their business.
